New Oklahoma credential
In the US, Oklahoma has announced a major modernisation of both its driver licence issuance platform and credential design.
The state is introducing a new digital processing system through FAST Enterprises to reduce waiting times, improve reliability, and eliminate system outages that previously disrupted licensing services.
Alongside the platform upgrade, Oklahoma unveiled redesigned driver’s licences and ID cards featuring enhanced security features and state-inspired visual elements. Made from polycarbonate, the new credential incorporates ultraviolet security elements, laser-engraved black-and-white portraits, animated secondary images, angle-dependent text effects, and microtext which includes the names of all 77 Oklahoma counties.
