IMWA Launches Certification Hologram

The Indian Malt Whisky Association (IMWA) has introduced a certification hologram programme designed to authenticate Indian single malt whisky and verify compliance with the association’s production standards. Indri, the whisky brand owned by Piccadily Agro Industries, is the first brand to announce adoption of the certification hologram on its bottles.

The hologram will appear on Indri products with immediate effect, providing consumers with a visible assurance that the whisky has been produced in accordance with the technical requirements established by the IMWA.

Established in 2024, the IMWA was formed to preserve, protect and promote authentic Indian malt whisky through technical standards, certification frameworks and industry advocacy. The association’s membership includes leading producers such as Piccadily Agro Industries, John Distilleries, Amrut Distilleries, Alcobrew Distilleries, Diageo, and Radico Khaitan.
