Tribute – Pilot Loses Its Founder

Giancarlo Vimercati, the founder of Pilot Italia, passed away in July 2025. In 1968, Giancarlo Vimercati founded Pilot Italia, a label converter that gradually became well-known in the Italian label business.

His recent death marks a loss for Europe’s label sector — he was not only a talented and respected businessman but also someone admired for his humanity, morality, and integrity.

Heeyeon Kim Appointed Vice President of NANOSILIKHAN Advanced Materials

South Korea-based NANOSILIKHAN Advanced Materials (formerly known as Nanobrick) has announced the promotion of Ms Heeyeon Kim to Vice President, where she will lead the company’s global security and nano platform businesses.

NanoSilikhan specialises in developing and manufacturing nano materials, including magnetically and electrically colour-changeable photonic crystal materials, for applications in security, biotechnology, functional materials, and display technologies.
