IOTA Expands Global Footprint

With its refreshed identity and broader mission, the International Optical Technologies Association (IOTA) – formerly known as the International Hologram Manufacturers Association (IHMA) – is deepening its engagement with the global optical security technologies (OST) community.

After a successful start to 2025 with appearances at the High Security Printing™ EMEA in Switzerland and the Tax Stamp & Traceability Forum™ in South Africa, IOTA is now looking to Asia as the next stage in its advocacy efforts.

First stop: Currency Conference in Thailand

IOTA will participate in the upcoming Currency Conference, hosted by Currency Research (CR), from 26-29 May 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mark Deakes, Chairman of IOTA, will represent the association at this event, which serves as a high-level forum for central banks, state printing works, and key industry players.
