KURZ Banknote Security Marks 30 Years at Sulzbach-Rosenberg

Between 22-23 July 2025, KURZ Banknote Security celebrated 30 years of security production at its Sulzbach-Rosenberg site with two days of reflection, innovation, and networking.

Under the theme ‘Tree of Life – innovation rooted in 30 Years of experience’, guests enjoyed keynote sessions on market trends, design integration, and sustainable foil development, presented by both internal and external experts.

Another highlight was the unveiling of the limited-edition ‘Tree of Life’ sample folder, featuring three unique sample notes. Visitors also participated in ‘a walk through the forest’, a guided tour of high-security foil production, which showcased the precision and expertise behind each step.

The celebration concluded at the Annaberg festival, where colleagues and guests shared memories, exchanged ideas, and honoured three decades of pioneering spirit, craftsmanship, and teamwork that have defined the site’s role in the high-security printing industry.
