Foil Industry Welcomes New Entrant: API Transfer Technologies

API Foilmakers, an Aldus Company, has officially announced the launch of a new company—API Transfer Technologies (ATT).

This company came into existence following the acquisition of all companies and brands of United Foils Europe BV (United Transfer Technologies, United Foils, Packvision, Starfoil, Newfoil Machines) by API Foilmakers in May this year (see HN, May 2024).

According to Aldsu, the strategic acquisition further strengthens its position in the foil industry, building on previous successful acquisitions, including Milford Astor in 2019 and API Foils Europe in 2020. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Aldus now has a diverse portfolio of businesses, including API Foilmakers, Paragon Inks, Tronics (specialising in inline labelling machines), Aldus Graphics, Aldus Engineering, and Milford Astor.
