Hazen Paper Wins Honours at Gold Leaf Awards
Hazen Paper received four honours at the 33rd Annual Gold Leaf Awards in Nashville, held from 17-19 June 2026. They included three golds for best use of embellished poster, best use of holographics (self-promotion) and best use of transfer metallised substrate. The awards were organised by the Foil and Specialty Effects Association (FSEA).
The company won Gold in the Best Use of Embellished Poster category for the Dave Matthews ‘Firedancer’ poster. Produced at Hazen's vertically integrated facility in Holyoke, Massachusetts, the design uses multiple staggered holographic logos that appear at different viewing angles. Combined with Hazen's proprietary Free-Form Lens® technology, the effect creates flowing, flame-like movement that enhances the original artwork.
Hazen also won Gold in the Best Use of Holographics (self-promotion) category for its 2026 Holographic Calendar, ‘La Rosa Volcanica’. The large-format collectible calendar showcases the power of Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano and is printed on Hazen’s recyclable, certified Envirofoil® substrate. It uses deep-groove holographic technology to deliver depth, motion and shifting optical effects as light and viewing angles change (see also HOTN January 2026).
