3S Strengthens Global Presence with Transition to 3S Group

3S, a German security printing specialist, has announced a strategic rebranding, adopting the name 3S Group to better reflect its growing international structure and long-term development plans.

The move formalises the company’s evolution into a group organisation and highlights the network of existing and future international subsidiaries operating under a unified corporate framework. Led by CEO Marco Castiglioni, 3S has spent recent years strengthening its organisational structure and expanding its international presence. In November 2025, after more than 127 years of its history, the organisation announced it would operate under the name 3S GmbH – Secure System Solutions.

Castiglioni says this transition follows a careful long-term plan, not just a quick decision. Adding ‘Group’ to the company’s name is meant to make operations more transparent, encourage teamwork across locations, and create stronger connections.
