ZEISS and tesa Join Forces in Advanced Holography Applications

ZEISS Microoptics, a manufacturer of optical systems and optoelectronics, alongside tesa, a manufacturer of adhesive tapes and selfadhesive product solutions, have announced a collaboration to advance holography technology.

Since 2022, both companies have collaborated on holography and customised adhesive solutions. This new phase combines ZEISS’s optical expertise with tesa’s material innovation to accelerate the development of pioneering products.

tesa’s Optically Clear Adhesives (OCA) play a vital role in ZEISS holographic applications, as these adhesives offer superior UV-blocking capabilities, high light transmission, and low haze. According to tesa, they also provide excellent resistance to temperature, moisture, and UV exposure, making them ideal for seamlessly integrating holography into mobility and home technology.
