ITW Specialty Films – R&D Holographer Optical Engineer

ITW Specialty Films designs, manufactures and markets specialized coated and/or metalized films for the Card, Security, and Medical markets. The division leverages unique core competencies and technologies in films, foils, laminates, holography and transfers to address customer needs globally operating out of 5 locations in North America and Europe. We are currently looking to hire an R&D Holographer Optical Engineer for our facility in Cranbury, New Jersey, USA whose chief role will be to research and develop new and unique optical security features for ID’s and passports. The successful candidate will serve as our subject matter expert, driving customer back innovation and development.

IHMA Member – Photoresist Plates

An IHMA member is seeking additional suppliers of photoresist plates. Below you can find the photoresist and chrome specification for what would be required: 

  • Plate Substrate: Quartz or Soda Lime

  • Plate Substrate Thickness: Quartz (3mm), Soda Lime (2mm)

  • Size: 178 x 178 mm x 3mm thick ie. (7”x 7”x 0.12”) for Quartz

  • Metallisation: Low reflective chrome 

  • Optical density: 2.8

  • Reflectivity: 8% @ 450nm 

  • Photoresist: 2.5 microns S1800
