IOTA Announces Inaugural Leadership

The International Optical Technologies Association (IOTA), previously known as the International Hologram Manufacturers Association (IHMA), has announced its inaugural leadership team for the new global trade body focused on optical security technologies.

The leadership includes:

• Alexandre Noizet, Surys
• Don Havourd, Hazen Paper Company
• Jim Keller, Opsec Security
• Manoj Kochar, Holoflex
• Ondřej Fedorčák, Optaglio.

They join Chair Dr Mark Deakes, with Dr Paul Dunn, former IHMA Chair, remaining in the post as a consultant board member.

IOTA represents the broadening scope of optical security technologies, reflecting innovation that now extends beyond traditional holography. It promotes authentication, anticounterfeiting, and automation solutions to governments, law enforcement, and brand owners globally.

On this occasion, Dr Mark Deakes said: ‘I’m very much looking forward to taking IOTA forward and working with members and partners to ensure it becomes a strong advocate and resource for the industry.
