Holography Features at CES 2025

CES® (short for the Consumer Electronics Show) is justifiably referred to as the most influential technology event in the world. It is the proving ground for breakthrough technologies and global innovators. CES 2025 was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 7-10 January 2025.

Hyundai Full-Windshield Holographic Display

As regards optical innovation, the show’s highlight was the Hyundai Mobis full holographic windshield display (HWD). Co-developed with ZEISS, a manufacturer of optical systems and optoelectronics, HWD enhances driving visibility through augmented reality.

This first-of-its-kind display projects critical driving information – such as navigation, infotainment, and safety alerts – across the entire width of the front windshield.
