IN Groupe Completes Acquisition of IDEMIA Smart Identity

The French state-owned security solutions group IN Groupe has successfully completed the acquisition of IDEMIA Smart Identity, positioning itself as the global leader in end-to-end, advanced physical and digital identity solutions and trust services.

Welcoming the IDEMIA Smart Identity teams to IN Groupe, Agnès Diallo, Chairwoman and CEO of IN Groupe, said: ‘today marks the beginning of a new chapter as we join forces to shape the future of identity. Valued at €850 million, this acquisition completes IN Groupe’s fifth major deal in recent years, following SURYS (2019), Nexus (2020), and the 2023 purchases of Portals’ security components business and Gleitsmann Security Inks.
