According to The Business Research Company’s Lottery Global Market Report 2024, the global lottery market is projected to expand from $283 billion in 2023 to $425 billion by 2028, indicating immense potential for holography in instant games. SG, a leader in lottery innovation, emphasises the importance of balancing entertainment with profitability. Danielle Hodges, Senior Director of Global Product Innovation & Development, noted that 53% of games priced at $10 or higher produced by SG since 2018 include at least one strategic enhancement.

According to SG estimates, scratch games on holographic paper stock are gaining popularity with players, representing $4.1 billion in US retail sales in the fiscal year 2024 – an increase of 7% from 2023.
