KURZ and BOBST Deepen Partnership with Strategic NOVAFOIL 106 H Installation

LEONHARD KURZ has enhanced its Application Technology Department in Fürth, Germany, by installing a BOBST NOVAFOIL 106 H hot-stamping machine. This installation marks the 55th anniversary of BOBST’s entry into hot transfer technology and strengthens the company’s 20 year partnership.

With this new equipment, KURZ can now test transfer products under production-grade conditions that closely match those of its global customers.

KURZ and BOBST teams in front of the new NOVAFOIL 106 H.

The collaboration represents a powerful synergy of technical specialities. While KURZ provides advanced hot-stamping transfer products and its subsidiary, H+M, contributes specialised knowledge in stamping dies, BOBST delivers the mechanical precision required for highperformance die-cutting. This ‘testing ecosystem’ has already produced industry milestones – like the famous parrot poster from DRUPA 2016 – and continues to push technical boundaries to offer more innovative, market-ready packaging designs.
