Gietz Vodka Label Showcases ROFO 450 ECO Capabilities
Swiss manufacturer Gietz has created the ‘Gietz Vodka’ label concept to highlight the creative and technical possibilities of its ROFO 450 ECO hot foil stamping unit.
The ROFO 450 ECO is the company’s core model for high-end narrow-web embellishment, offering – it states – outstanding precision, efficiency, and one of the largest stamping surfaces in its class.
The concept label illustrates these capabilities through multi-stroke embellishment on matt black paper, transforming packaging into a tactile, high- end brand experience.
The fully embossed label demonstrates how complex finishing techniques can be achieved with the ROFO 450 ECO:
- Strokes 1 and 2: a precise line pattern of horizontal and diagonal lines, intersecting seamlessly, is executed using two transfer colours – LEONHARD Kurz LUXOR® ALUFIN® 302 and LUXOR® ALUFIN® Matte 152.
- Stroke 3: the ‘GIETZ’ lettering is elevated with a prismatic relief using Kurz LUMAFIN® Clear 799, while each letter of ‘VODKA’ is given an individual textured embossing for added depth.
- Stroke 4: the back label is refined haptically with blind embossing, enhanced by interchangeable texture inserts from H+M. To protect the effect, a polyester carrier is applied, ensuring durability and a premium finish.
