A Message from the Outgoing Editor

As I step down as the editor of this publication, I’m looking back on our journey over the past three years. In September 2020, I introduced myself as the incoming editor, and now, as time completes its circle, I’m passing the baton to the next editor of Holography News® (HN).

Being in charge of this publication has been a pleasure, allowing me to witness and document the changes in the holographic community. Together, we’ve explored advances in technology and marvelled at the creativity and innovation in our industry.

I’m confident that the future of HN is in good hands with the incoming editor, Micaal Sidorov. With experience in the holography industry and currently serving as General Secretary of the International Hologram Manufacturers Association, Micaal is well-equipped to lead.

To HN readers, thank you for your continued support. Your passion for holography has driven the success of this publication. Please support Micaal Sidorov as he takes on the role of editor. I’m sure that under his guidance, HN will continue to provide insight to the holographic community.

While stepping down as editor, I’m not leaving HN entirely. I’ll continue to share opinions on significant events, trends, and controversies in our industry through articles for Micaal to consider for publication. And as I said three years ago, ‘you may not always agree with the opinions I voice, but I hope you’ll find them to be well-informed and challenging!’
